Hiatus Over
I've been on a bit of a hiatus from blogging. I think its from "over blogging" at work - as that's mostly what I spend my day on, from nine-to-five.
The spring came very slowly here in Wisconsin. The big lake has kept the weather in a constant state of mist and cool weather. However, the garden has been managing in spite of the heavy rains - and frankly the lawn has never looked greener.
While this doesn't really do justice to the variety of things we've been up to between April and July - it does show you the beauty I've been privileged to witness.

April:
Hosted a small indoor pool party in a private setting. We had great fun playing basket ball and dodge ball in the water. Hot tub provided a nice reprieve from the cold drizzle outside. Grilled out and caught up with old friends.May:
In may we took a lovely trip to Key West. Merged with friends from Florida and California. Cooked and dined on delicious desserts. Jet skied, swam, boated and sailed. It was truly a vacation in paradise.June:
Spring is turning to summer, the garden has been planted and the grass is growing at an alarming rate. The flower beds are slowly rotating through their seasonal blooms. The fountains bubble to life in the evenings, providing quite a tranquil backdrop for me to wind down after work.
