Creative Thaw

Ten on Ten March

It always fascinates me that February and March mirror one another.  The dates repeat their line up. February and March are usually the most brutal in terms of weather in Wisconsin.  When you think of it as a double-dose of wind, cold, and snow... it can be exasperating.  Even more so for us creative types, who never like to do the same thing twice!

I missed February's ten-on-ten, as I was feeling creatively challenged.  This month however, I'm facing that challenge with new verve.  I've undergone a creative thaw...  the inspiration to photograph small, simple things that bring me joy is overflowing.

Looking forward to reviewing everyone else's creativity on A Bit of Sunshine's Ten-on Ten.

Morning!  Excellent book... about France and hiding its treasured wine from the Nazis.

Selfie at work.

This is the real news of the day... Fifty-three degrees!! A reprieve for us in Wisconsin.

Dog walking.  Finally a day that doesn't freeze my face-off.

Necessary baking.  Dog snacks.  Pumpkin-peanut butter yum, yums.

Dog patiently awaiting yum, yums.

Preparing salad for dinner.  (Mommy's yum, yums.)

Cheddar and chive scones.  Yummy!

Photo of Mom and Dad at Prom.  Tom's library card from elementary school.  Selfie.

Little artichokes growing... and is that a four-leaf clover?
