Still Alive and Kickin'
Whew! Thirty days without a blog post. I can't believe how the time just flies. I've been spending a great deal of time at the computer. I've been managing the launch of two very distinctive websites for my employer - and frankly, wanted to disconnect with technology for a while.
August and September has found me very content with my life. I've enjoyed evening walks with my dog. Discovering newly ripened vegetables in my garden. Meditating to the sound of my garden fountain.
I've been in a panic to come up with new ideas for welding this fall. I'm falling short on that creative front I'm afraid.
Tom and I spent a glorious weekend in upper Michigan. We took the motorcycles and enjoyed epic vistas, delicious fragrances of nature, and beautiful weather.
This photo is a storm I captured from the view of my front yard. I've been photographing a lot of beautiful things in nature this year. Morning dew drops on the tips of grass blades, long-shadows cast in the setting sun, colorfully bold sunrises, and full-harvest moons. Ahh!
Well, with fall coming on - I'm sure I'll be back posting at a more regular rate. I'm hoping my creative writing class will improve my stories both in content and in subject matter.
Many begin their year on January 1st. I've changed mine to begin on my wedding anniversary. A year has flown by so quickly - faster than any I remember. I've enjoyed all of it. The good, the bad, the discovery, the contentment. What a marvelous and blessed life I have.
