Day 19: Talk about someone special in your life
I have many special people in my life. My husband, my family (sister, Mom, brother) and my pack of "Amazing Wonder-women". Right now the person who I'm most influenced by would be my husband Tom.
Admirable. He's come from terrible darkness to succeeded and win his battle with depression. His experiences have made him a more solid person. He's my rock whenever I find myself a bit lost. He's kind, supportive and encouraging.
Patient. He's the most patient man I know and keeps his temper. I've never heard him curse in vain (I fly off the handle and cuss like a sailor sometimes). Even when he smashes his finger or toe - not a shout will escape his lips. (How does he do that?)
Grounded. He can relax and totally meditate on the moment. I can't sit still. Sunday evenings are my favorite time. We sit silent and still in our Adirondack chairs on the deck, watching the sun slowly sink behind the orchard. With him there I can actually feel at peace. Kind of amazing.
