More amazing in person

Day 30: Capture something amazing

Today started out as a particularly uninteresting day.  I woke up, caught an airplane at 7 am, and spent the entire day either in the air, or on the ground in an airport.  The amazing thing?  I saw amazing and interesting things all around me.
  • The new tunnel on I894 (I haven't gone through it yet)
  • How do parking garages know how many parking spaces are left?
  • Moving walkways... like a fun ride for adults
  • Sharing a newspaper with my boss
  • The way USA today practically invented color coding and call-out boxes
  • Consuming ice-cubes from a plastic cup (not so amazing)
  • Starting a new book
  • Luxury "sky-lounges" (free food, beverages, comfy seating)
  • The thrill of walking out on a tarmac (vs. the long enclosed ramp)
  • The sun and heat on my face
  • A new mountain range to look at
So, the only photo opportunity I had today, was at the airport, waiting for my bag to come off the plane.  This is the mesa range in Grand Junction, CO.  To make it "amazing" I applied a cool photo filter using "Be Funky".  (But truly the mesa is more amazing in person.)

Day 31: Share your social media day. We all use different forms of social media so share with us all of yours and lets help each other out and follow, friend, and tag each other.
