Day 17: What is your favorite keepsake?

I am attached to a few things.  First is a copy of "Little Women".  The book originally belonged to my mother, and she inscribed her name on the inside cover.  Her maiden name.  My mom is the one who instilled my love of reading.  I wonder how many times she's read that book, as the spine is deteriorated.  

The second thing I'm attached to is a photo someone took of Tom and I years ago.  It's a candid shot of us standing next to our motorcycles.  I like the way they captured us as we were interacting with one another.  We were teasing each other and we're smiling ear to ear.  It's not posed, so I like the fact it captured our spirit in the moment.  

Day 18: What are your hobbies? What do you do for fun?

I'm attracted to many different activities.  Most current hobbies are gardening which relates to cooking because we're growing our own vegetables.  Cooking because I love throwing themed dinner parties.  I enjoy motorcycling (if you call that a hobby) because my husband loves it. Finally anything artistic.  I'm currently into welding, and painting.  

I enjoy traveling and combining travel with one of the other hobbies above is the best.  This October I'm traveling to France with girlfriends for a culinary experience in the Chateau region.  Fun!  Mostly if it offers something creative and/or adventurous I'm in.
