May's Marvels

It's the tenth of the month again, and this month I'm super excited because it was a Friday AND I would be attending a fundraiser called "Dancing for a Difference" at the Chandelier Ballroom.  With the weather warming up and life coming back, May is turning out to be marvelous.  Hooking up again with other marvelous bloggers in A Little Bit of Sunshine's Ten on Ten project.

5:30 a.m.  - Bedhead... but not to worry, I've got the tools and hardware to tame my mane.  

6:30 a.m.  - Rain... but my epiphyllum is about to burst a bloom!

7:30 a.m. - Coffee... notice the temperature outside... total bummer.  The "C" on the mug stands for... well Coffee, since my name starts with an "S"... 

hey, it was $5.00 on sale!  

8:30 a.m. (and 10:30 a.m.) - More Caffeine... you can see the progression here.  The scenery doesn't much change for me for the next 8 hours... 

12:30 p.m. - Blooms... life isn't completely drab.  I brought in tulips from my garden, and the trees outside the office popped with flowers overnight.  

5:30 p.m. - Bailey... Finally the week is over.  I picked Bailey up from play care.  He was plenty tired even for a hound dog.  

6:30 p.m. - Friends... what Dancing for a Difference is all about.  I'm lucky to have such a wonderful young person in my life, who considers me a friend. 

7:30 p.m. - Dancing... lots and lots of dancing.  These are ordinary people who are willing to put themselves out there for a good cause.  Heck, I wouldn't be able to get past the embarrassment of wearing the costume, much less having two left feet!  They did a great job!  

9:30 p.m. - Reward... it's been a long but rewarding day.  When you Dance for a Difference, everyone's a winner.  Good night, and sweet dreams!
