Difference a Day Makes

What a difference a day makes... well that, a little bit of sunshine, and an elevation of forty degrees in temperature...

People are giddy with delight that Spring has finally arrived in Wisconsin.  Today I walked out of work and the air was warm.  It felt as if I were being wrapped in a blanket pulled directly from a hot clothes dryer.

The route home was busy with traffic - I imagine people were wanting to get home to tend gardens and get outdoors before bedtime.

When I stepped out on my patio this evening, I noticed what a difference a day had made.  My bulbs have sprouted flower spires almost overnight.  In just a day or two I expect I'll see their pastel tea-cup blooms bursting open.  I can't wait.

Overnight, these little white angels have sprouted.  This ground cover is hardy and I'm always amazed at how beautiful it looks year to year.

This pile of twigs will become a lush and gorgeous Bleeding Heart.  I'm amazed at nature's beauty and ability to craft such imaginative things from soil, sun and water.  It's amazing isn't it to watch things grow with very little interference from humanity.

Well here's warm wishes and sunshine going out to everyone.
