Soggy Sunday
My favorite day of the month again! A Bit of Sunshine's Ten on Ten project.
Today the weather was most dreary. Snow followed by pouring rain, followed by ice. I ran errands in the morning and then we holed up inside watching old movies, making chili, and of course blogging.
Good morning! I almost forgot the date!
Thank heaven I checked in with my favorite blogs!
Got my buns in gear this morning... ran to three stores and the grocery store!
Back in the garage... noted the time, and took a picture of my favorite daily tool... my ball.
Keeps me from hitting the wall...
Dog's up... playing in the snow.
He's our homeland security office, sniffing out suspicious overnight activity.
My blue bottle tree. They are particularly beautiful against the backdrop of white snow.
Back outside with the dog.
My Adirondack chair (that I made by hand), looking lonely, locked in a drift.
The aquamarine color reminds me of summer... it's coming soon! (I hope.)
Dreary weather makes me sleepy. Nap time. The dog had the same idea... move over puppy...
Surprise! Girl Scout cookies arrived.
"Not rain, nor sleet, nor dark of night...shall keep a Girl Scout from her promised deliveries."
An hour later... and countless cookies eaten...
I look guiltily at my bowl of delicious fruit (I bought earlier in the day...)
Bananas, and apples, and pears... oh my!
Snow has turned to pouring rain.
Catching up on the news of the snow storm which has paralyzed the east coast.
Chili!
Nothing like a warm bowl of delicious homemade chili on a cold, dreary day.
Warm thoughts going to everyone on this Ten on Ten.

Great story to follow along with the pictures.
