Oh Christmas Tree
Well another year has passed and my friend and I find ourselves decorating another tree this year for the Washington County Humane Society's Festival of Trees.
This year I think we came up with a great theme and some great ornaments. "An Old Fashioned Washington County Christmas" is made up of ceramic village pieces, framed photos from the Wisconsin Historical Society, and lots of glitter!
The tree came out beautiful this year. I really love the candy cane ribbon, and swirly thing-a-ma-jigs on the top. We wired all the ornaments, village people, glittered picks, and bows on the tree so the winning bidder could easily take the tree home.
The photos we selected for the frames reflected the village landmark buildings (Town Hall, Train Station) and village people (carolers, snowmen, sleighs). All the photos used were taken in Washington County.
I think we did a great job this year!
