November 10 on 10
This month my day for 10 on 10 was a bit more exciting. I had a great friend visiting from out west California way, and we spent the day visiting, touring my home town, shopping and cooking. We were celebrating a friend's birthday.
The weather is unseasonably warm - sixties! Went for a morning walk. The day started out a bit damp and misty. Cows were grazing in the fields... unfortunately I forgot my camera on the walk! So the photos here start a bit later in the morning. We went to a friend's house for breakfast. Pumpkin pancakes - yummy!

of investing a bouquet of flowers.

2 p.m. Visited my home town to look at the Christmas decorations.
3 p.m. The famous clock on Main Street.
Saw a few welded pieces I'd like to make.
4 p.m. Time for a visit to the brewery along the creek for a glass of ale.
5 p.m. Picking up a few items for our Mexican dinner menu this evening.
6 p.m. Cooking up a Mexican fiesta... me being silly with my welding helmet.
7 p.m. Dinner's ready! Tortilla soup. Enchiladas. Taco salad.
8 p.m. Finally birthday cake and presents. Whew!

What a lovely day. Your town looks like it would be fun to explore.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Small towns decorated for Christmas are the best!
