It's a Bird! No, really it is....

After a lot of Internet searching... and some pre-arranging of pieces and parts on the garage floor, I finally got the concept together.  Which as it turns out was the easy part.  Welding this bad-boy together on the other hand proved to be challenging.  First... I had to weld the various parts together (head, body, wings, legs etc.) - then I had to assemble them in a tiny welding booth.  As I welded the components together it got heavier... and heavier!  Finally it was me and "big bird" in the booth alone... wrestling for space.  I thought he had me for a while... but I got him.  He turned out great.  This is going to be a birthday gift for my dear "sister" in November.
