Changing Moon

It's fall and nearly October.  The bare trees signal another summer has passed.  This fall is a poignant reminder of transition for me.  Fall is when trees go dormant waiting for the warming sun of spring to awaken them.  Fall is a constant reminder that everything goes through a cycle of change - birth, life and death.  A bit melancholy I know.

Anyway, I'm obsessed with the moon now... because it rises through my front window in the morning and sets through my rear window in the late hours of the evening.  I've captured the full-moon this month with my camera.  The pictures aren't the best... as they don't capture the misty silhouettes of the foliage or the brilliance of an orange harvest moon... but they help me remember the moment of enjoying those visions.
