Kicking off summer with hotdogs and Hitchcock

New obsession!  After our Titantic party... friends have not been able to stop talking about it - apparently to everyone (their dentists, jewelers, beauticians, family, friends etc.).  They keep asking "when is the next party?"  A challenge, when you consider the first party was really based on a 100th anniversary of one of the world's largest tragedy - so does the theme become food associated with tragic events?  After a few discussions with my creative husband, and a couple of friends - eureka!  Kick off summer with an outdoor movie night (featuring film noir from the Alfred Hitchcock collections); serving 'modernized' versions of fare typically served at drive-in concession stands.  Stay tuned for the recipes soon to appear on the Food and Wine section of this blog.
