Boats...blackout...and beer

I'm not talking a beer blackout - electrical - the wind was the cause.  However, with the weather being in the eighties, it prompted everyone outdoors.  No computers, no phones (no political calls), no TV, (no running water), no stove or microwave... for hours.  So we enjoyed a few beers with our neighbors, and the kids got to eat ice-cream from the freezer... we made our way home in the dark with cell phones, flashlights, and candles... it was actually fun.  The boat?  Sitting in the driveway, awaiting the journey from dry dock to lake.  No electricity, no traffic lights, no DNR station.  What a way to begin the Memorial Day weekend... urrg now we have to reset all the clocks!
