Addicted to knowledge

Ok I admit it.  I'm an addict.  While not on drugs I'm an enthusiastic devotee to education.  I've got to learn.  My husband would argue that while I'm learning new things, I'm mastering none - which may be true; but I experience so much pleasure perusing the "personal enrichment" catalogs.  I'm not sure what is so enticing?  It may be the creative titles and promises of learning an exotic skill like the basics of sushi, beginning guitar, literary adventures of Savannah, digital photography techniques of the pros, the last supper of the Titanic…  I believe that by learning these things I won’t be so bored with myself, I’ll have something interesting to talk about and to show off.  Whether it’s creative writing, watercolor, or welding, learning is such a high...
