Rock music reminds me to be a rebel

OK I'll confess, I'm of the "over 40" crowd but I grew up in an era of rock music with bands like Queen, Def Leppard, Billie Idol.  In welding class someone cranked up the tunes and the metal song that wafted above the "zip, zap" of the MIG welders was the perfect accompaniment; my head bobbed to the beat as I pressed on the trigger on the welder.  Spark, fire, and doing something dangerous!  Then Friday night I left work late, in high spirits as I drove to meet up with a friend for some fun - the rock tunes playing on my car's Bose system were cranked up.  They took me back to my youth - the little rebel inside me singing..."Oh, yeah, it was like lightning, everybody was frightening!  And the music was soothing, and they all started grooving...."
