My old enemy is my new friend

It's only been 25 years... or is it; has it been?...25 YEARS?!!...when we were enemies with the U.S.S.R?  I remember watching the wall come down in Germany.  I remember the MTV video with Gorbachev and Reagan as puppets in a nuclear game of war.  And tonight I'm going out with a woman, my age, who lived on the other side of the Iron Curtain the same time I was living the American dream.  My once-enemy is now my friend; united under the same banner, a love of cinematic theatre.
