Birthday proves to be too much fun

We celebrated my brother in law's birthday this weekend with friends.  It always amazes me that people stand and gather in the kitchen; avoiding the comfy living room furniture.  There are photos of last night's frivolity somewhere.  Spent most of the day in bed sleeping off a food and wine hangover.  I've not been out past 1 am since...  I can't remember when.  It was worth it.
