Saturday temperature thaws frozen heart

Recovery (not to win) is the end game; in health, disaster, relationships and life.  Don’t be fooled by the things you take for granted as “routine”.  Nothing is routine and can quickly turn tragic.  I love Saturdays because it’s time to spend with myself.  This Saturday was unique because it included an impromptu trip to an antique show with friends and dinner with co-workers and their spouses.  I realize we’re all recovering from events that turn our life topsy-turvy; and yesterday in spite of chilly temperatures I felt a thaw.  I laughed, learned a few new things, and felt relaxed for the first time in a long, time.  I think my heart is thawing; there is a faint heartbeat and I can feel again.
