Confession rekindles own interest in couture

Met up with a co-worker leaving the building last night; the same friend who recommended the film, The Artist.  She follows movie award ceremonies closely, not for the films but to admire the gowns worn by women on the red carpet.  She confesses her "guilty pleasure" is fashion.  "Couture" I corrected.  It rekindled my own interest in fashion design.  I love patterns and the tactile texture of fabric.  There is nothing more pleasurable than allowing a piece of silk easily slide through your fingers.
